What is search?

Search lets you find any information created in Qatalog or connected to Qatalog through integrated apps or tools (e.g. Google docs, Slack messages, Asana tasks, etc.).

How does search work?

When you connect your productivity and collaboration tools to Qatalog (e.g. project management, organization wiki, etc.), search lets you to:

  • Find any profile, team, project, post, goal, or workflow created in Qatalog.

  • Find any external resource attached to a Qatalog profile, team, or project.

  • Find any external resource stored in the tools you connect to Qatalog (e.g. Google docs, Slack messages, Asana tasks, etc.).

When you click on any search result:

  1. If the file is a Qatalog entity, you’ll be redirected to it.

  2. If the file belongs to a connected integration, you’ll be redirected to a new tab pointing you to the right file (e.g. the right Google Drive file, or the specific Slack message).

The more you search, the more Qatalog can anticipate what you’re looking for.

Based on your searches, Qatalog will suggest recent searches and relevant filters to make accessing knowledge even easier.
