Get started with Threads
Starting a Thread within a Team, Project, or Goal is a great way to kick off a discussion, request feedback, or reach a decision.
To create your first thread, click on “Create thread”.
Creating a Thread
There are 4 types of Thread labels: Discussions, Decisions, Feedback, or Requests. Use these labels to set the context for your team.
Use @ to tag your coworkers in the discussion — if they’re not on Qatalog, just add their email, and they’ll get an invite to join your discussion.
For time-sensitive decisions, set a ‘resolve by’ date to encourage others to share their feedback in a timely manner. Participants will receive a notification on the resolution date if the thread is still open, and a notification for when a thread has been closed/resolved.
Replying to Threads
You and your coworkers can comment on a thread to contribute to the discussion. Use the reply text editor found at the bottom of the Thread sidebar:

If you're looking for a different way to chime in on a topic, you can also react to a comment using the emojis available.
Resolving means closing the thread. If you or your coworkers reply to a thread after it’s resolved, it will automatically unresolve so you can continue the discussion.
To resolve a thread click the checkmark button on a response to the thread.
Creating a new thread in your team, project, or goal
