What are goals?
Goals are a Qatalog feature focused on helping align people and teams around clear, accessible, and actionable business goals.
Unlike goals that live in a document or sheet, goals in Qatalog can be linked to related projects and/or subgoals, assigned to individuals and/or teams, and tracked with updates pushed to all those involved.
Why should I switch to goals?
Goals live side-by-side with the work driving goal attainment. Having business goals live within Qatalog ensures everyone involved is operating with the same level of context and information so goals can be achieved faster, better, and together.
When would I use goals?
Whenever you need to align a team or multiple teams around a common goal, or maintain your own focus on a personal goal.
Goals can be set on the organization, team, or individual level, allowing for a wide range of goal types. A few examples of goals include:
- Launching a new product
- Improving customer satisfaction
- Achieving a specific revenue target
- Expanding to a new market or region
- Reducing churn by X%
- Improving internal employee satisfaction
- Getting promoted into a new role
Once you’ve identified your goal, you will create it in Qatalog. Moving your goals to Qatalog will ensure they’re not overlooked or forgotten (a common occurrence when goals live in spreadsheets and separate goal tracking software), so you and your team never lose sight of what’s important.
