External Sharing gives you the option of sharing work items within your Qatalog, without having another person join your organization. This can be useful for working with external vendors who only need access to specific information.
Note: inviting a guest user will not count towards one of your Qatalog seats.
Enabling external sharing
External Sharing is available by default across your organization and it can be toggled on and off for specific Modules. You can do this by going to the general settings of any Module and toggle "Allow items to be shared externally"
How to share an item externally
If external sharing is allowed in a Module, you can go into any of those Module's Items and click on the "Manage" drop-down menu on the top right corner, then select "Share externally"
A new menu will be shown where you can set an expiration date for access and send an email invite to the external person you'd like to collaborate with on this item.
Once that person joins the item, they will be able to view, create and comment on it just like any other member would. They will not have access to anything else in your Qatalog.
